VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SERVICES

Our Vocational Rehabilitation Division is driven by the intrinsic desire to assist people with disabilities in actualizing their employment dreams.  Our collection of industrious Employment Specialists, working in concert with the Texas Workforce Commission’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services Division, Medicaid, Project Search, and the Alamo Local Authority – among others, is unique in that we specialize in developing creative solutions to common employment problems that continue to marginalize people with disabilities in today’s workforce.  Tracking emerging hiring trends, maintaining proactive relationships with quality employers, and candidly informing our clients, is what we do.

The River City Group’s staff possesses over 60 years of combined experience working with individuals with disabilities across a variety of employment sectors, job sites, and educational settings.  Our Employment Specialists maintain specialized certifications in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual & Developmental Disorders (IDD), and Special Education.  We have successfully placed individuals aged 17 to 77 in jobs that they love, jobs that pay well, and jobs that offer a work culture defined by inclusion and support.

The River City Group’s Employment Specialists have also demonstrated exceptional success rates when working with degreed professionals, individuals who have never worked, and those who are coping with arrest and/or incarceration records.

Last, but certainly not least, The River City Group is consistently recognized as the industry leader in South Texas when it comes to both quality, and quantity of successful job placement outcomes.
